Gezeigt werden Fotografien des chinesischen K\u00fcnstlers He Chongyue, die historische Propagandaparolen zur Ein-Kind-Politik in l\u00e4ndlichen Regionen sichtbar machen, neben eindr\u00fccklichen Positionen zur Adoptions- und Geschlechterpolitik in S\u00fcd- und Nordkorea aus der eigenen Sammlung. Ein zentrales Werk ist <em>Family<\/em> von Mao Tongqiang. Die fotografische Serie veranschaulicht paradigmatisch den Wandel chinesischer Familienstrukturen: von der Produktionsgemeinschaft vergangener Zeiten hin zu konsumorientierten, mobilen und oft kleineren Haushalten. Jane Jin Kaisens poetisch-politische Videoarbeit <em>The Woman, The Orphan, and The Tiger<\/em> thematisiert transgenerationale Traumata koreanischer Frauen zwischen Kolonialherrschaft, Milit\u00e4rgewalt und transnationaler Adoption. Ein verwandtes Thema verhandelt Mirae kate-hers Rhee in der eigens f\u00fcr die Ausstellung entwickelten Arbeit <em>K-Orphan Style<\/em>, in der sie <span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">autoethnografisch<\/span>\u00a0ihre eigene Adoption aus S\u00fcdkorea in die USA reflektiert.
