Anders bei einem Stab aus Suriname in S\u00fcdamerika, einem der zentralen Ausstellungsst\u00fccke aus der tempor\u00e4ren Ausstellung &#8222;Kunst als Beute&#8220;: hier ist auf der Karteikarte vermerkt, dass er einem nichtsahnenden surinamischen Dorfbewohner geraubt wurde, als er einen Laden der Missionsstation Wanhatti betrat.<\/h5>\n<p>Mehr als 100 Jahre sp\u00e4ter n\u00e4hert sich Onias Landveld, ein niederl\u00e4ndischer multidisziplin\u00e4rer K\u00fcnstler mit surinamesischen Wurzeln, dem Stab in einer Videoarbeit der Gastkuratoren und Creative Directors der Ausstellung &#8222;Kunst als Beute&#8220;, Jongsma + O&#8217;Neill. Die im Video dokumentierte Dreiecksbeziehung zwischen Onias, dem Stab und der Kuratorin des Ethnologischen Museums, Andrea Scholz, bildet den Ausgangspunkt f\u00fcr ein Gespr\u00e4ch auf der B\u00fchne \u00fcber diese erste Begegnung und die m\u00f6glichen Kooperationen, die sich daraus ergeben haben. Seine Eltern haben beide surinamische Maroon-Wurzeln (Saamaka und Ndyuka). Als Kind musste seine Familie wegen des B\u00fcrgerkriegs aus S\u00fcdamerika fliehen. Obwohl seine Familie wieder nach Suriname zog, kehrte Landveld 1998 in die Niederlande zur\u00fcck. Seine Kunst spiegelt ein Leben wider, in dem er sich mit seiner j\u00fcdischen Identit\u00e4t und seiner Verbindung zu Israel auseinandersetzt. Er ist in der Bildungsarbeit aktiv und organisiert Veranstaltungen, darunter Musikfestivals und solche mit Bezug zur j\u00fcdischen Gemeinde.
