Ihre Zusammenarbeit schafft Raum, um aus Gewalt- und Verlusterfahrungen neue Hoffnung entstehen zu lassen.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ausgangspunkt ist der Heilkr\u00e4utergarten <em>Hevr\u00een Xelef<\/em>\u00a0in Berlin-Neuk\u00f6lln, der mit dem Frauendorf Jinwar in Nordostsyrien sowie mit dem Verein <em>Women for Justice<\/em> eng verbunden ist. Hier wird deutlich, was G\u00e4rten alles sein k\u00f6nnen: Orte des Gedenkens, der Heilung und <span class=\"w-term-highlight\">Gemeinschaft<\/span>, der gegenseitigen St\u00e4rkung und Selbstwirksamkeit. Sie ist als Tochter einer deutschen Mutter und eines iranischen Vaters im Iran geboren. 2015 gr\u00fcndete sie den Verein <em>Flamingo<\/em>, ein Netzwerk f\u00fcr gefl\u00fcchtete Frauen* und Kinder. Seit 2019 betreut <em>Flamingo <\/em>den transkulturellen Gemeinschaftsgarten <em>Hevr\u00een Xelef <\/em>in Berlin-Neuk\u00f6lln. F\u00fcr ihre Arbeit erhielt sie 2022 den Citizen Award von der Organisation Global Citizen. Von 2017 bis 2025 kuratierte sie Musikfestivals und Kulturprojekte wie <em>Female Voice of Iran<\/em>, <em>Female Voice of Afghanistan<\/em>, <em>Female Voice of Kurdistan<\/em>, <em>Qashqai Female Voices<\/em>, <em>Ukrainian Female Voices<\/em>\u00a0und <em>Female Voices United<\/em>. Sie studierte Medienkunst und Design in Weimar und spielt seit ihrer Jugend Tanbur. Mahin war Mitglied des Dayrak Khatoon Ensembles, einer Frauenmusikgruppe in Kermashan, und spielte weltweit Konzerte.
