Gemeinsam erforschen sie, wie kulinarisches Wissen \u00fcber Grenzen hinweg weitergegeben wird und mit Fragen von Migration und Identit\u00e4t verbunden ist. Anhand von Fragen zu Zutaten, Rezepten und pers\u00f6nlichen Erinnerungen regt die Performance dazu an, \u00fcber Geschmack, Herkunft und gemeinsame Erfahrungen nachzudenken. Aus den Reaktionen und Erz\u00e4hlungen der Teilnehmenden entwickelt groundtable einen individuellen Snack. Seine Praxis besch\u00e4ftigt sich mit s\u00fcdostasiatischer Kunst, der Geschichte der ehemaligen DDR und ihren Vertragsarbeiter*innen sowie den Solidarit\u00e4tsbewegungen unter den sozialistischen \u201eBruderl\u00e4ndern\u201c der ehemaligen DDR. 2019 wurde ihm das Kurator*innen-Stipendium der Kulturstiftung des Freistaates Sachsen verliehen. Nguy\u1ec5n hat Ausstellungen kuratiert und zu Forschungsprojekten an Institutionen wie dem Museum f\u00fcr zeitgen\u00f6ssische Kunst Leipzig (GfZK), dem Haus der Kulturen der Welt Berlin, dem Schwulen Museum Berlin, der RMIT University Vietnam und der Universit\u00e4t Erfurt beigetragen. Durch Skulptur, Installation und Performance untersucht er, wie soziale Normen sowie F\u00fcrsorge- und Kontrollregime sich in Objekten, Textilien und allt\u00e4glichen Gesten materialisieren. Florale Motive, industrielle Referenzen und fragile Pr\u00e4sentationsstrukturen kehren dabei als Tr\u00e4ger von Ambivalenz zwischen Z\u00e4rtlichkeit und Widerstand, Bewahrung und Ausl\u00f6schung wieder \u2013 R\u00e4ume, in denen gemeinsame Geschichten neu gelesen und neu verhandelt werden k\u00f6nnen.
