Ohne sein Agieren w\u00e4ren Objekte wie die Benin-Bronzen und das Luf-Boot nicht in die Berliner Sammlung gelangt. Aus guten Gr\u00fcnden steht er daher im Fokus heutiger Debatten \u00fcber Restitution und die kritische Auseinandersetzung mit kolonialen und rassistischen Wissenschaftstraditionen. Felix von Luschan war jedoch eine widerspr\u00fcchliche Figur: Er war zu-gleich ein entschiedener Gegner v\u00f6lkisch-antisemitischer Rassentheorien und stellte zentrale Paradigmen der zeitgen\u00f6ssischen \u201eRassenwissenschaften\u201c in Frage. Anhand ausgew\u00e4hlter Objekte und Fotografien beleuchten die Historiker Felix Wiedemann und Patrick Helber in der F\u00fchrung nicht nur die komplexe Figur Felix von Luschan, sondern auch die Ambivalenzen eines \u201ewissenschaftlichen Antirassismus\u201c im fr\u00fchen 20. Anschlie\u00dfend war er als Volont\u00e4r am Museum Neuk\u00f6lln und als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter f\u00fcr Bildung und Vermittlung am Deutschen Historischen Museum in Berlin t\u00e4tig. Seit 2021 ist er Kurator f\u00fcr Bildung und Vermittlung am Ethnologischen Museum in Berlin im Humboldt Forum und verantwortet dort unter anderem mit seinen Kolleg*innen das kollaborative Vermittlungsprojekt \u201eVerflochtene Erinnerung(en). Spuren der Shoah und des Kolonialismus im Berliner Schloss und den Ethnologischen Sammlungen\u201c, das gemeinsam mit Partner*innen u. a. aus Ruanda, Namibia, Jamaika und Israel Vermittlungsformate
