Er ist Direktor f\u00fcr Kulturerbe im togoischen Ministerium f\u00fcr Tourismus, Kultur und Kunst und lehrt an verschiedenen Hochschulen und Instituten in Togo. Er promovierte an der Universit\u00e4t Bremen und war als Postdoktorand und Gastforscher an deutschen Universit\u00e4ten t\u00e4tig. Er lebt in Portugal und ist regelm\u00e4\u00dfig in Afrika, Europa und S\u00fcdamerika t\u00e4tig. Sanouvi erforscht die Wechselwirkungen zwischen seiner Ew\u00e9-Epistemologie und dem zeitgen\u00f6ssischen Leben. Er hat einen Masterabschluss in Tanz vom Bennington College und ist eng mit dem Graduiertenkolleg der Universit\u00e4t der K\u00fcnste Berlin verbunden.
