Diese Sichtweise verkennt aber den Kern der echten Herausforderung f\u00fcr die Demokratie. Es sind n\u00e4mlich prim\u00e4r autorit\u00e4re Populisten, die an die Macht\u00a0gelangt sind und dann auch die Demokratie untergraben. Autorit\u00e4re Populisten besitzen eine umfassende Ideologie, die die Schw\u00e4chen der existierenden Demokratie angreift. Seit 2019 ist er Sprecher des von der DFG gef\u00f6rderten Exzellenzclusters \u201eContestations of\u00a0 the Liberal Script\u201c (SCRIPTS).
