Anhand von Fragmenten des religi\u00f6sen Erbes und der Familiengeschichte, pers\u00f6nlicher Reflexion und ethnografischer Beobachtung zeigt die Lesung auf, wie Individuen und Gemeinschaften in der Migration sich einem Sinn f\u00fcr das\/ihre Historische n\u00e4hern. In seiner Arbeit erforscht er kritische Vorstellungen von Intimit\u00e4t und postmigrantischem Be\/Longing (Sein\/Geh\u00f6ren) mit einem Interesse an islamischen Lebenswelten. Er ist der Autor von Queer Companions: Religion, Public Intimacy and Saintly Affects in Pakistan (Duke University Press, 2022).
