Komplexer wird es, wenn die Vielfalt ihrer Lesarten und gelebten Formen erkennbar wird. Schnell wird klar, \u201eFamilie\u201c meinte nicht immer und zu allen Zeiten dasselbe. Die interdisziplin\u00e4re Ringvorlesung <em>Beziehungsweise Familie<\/em>, u.a. mit der bekannten britischen Kulturanthropologin Janet Carsten und der deutschen Sozialanthropologin Tatjana Thelen, begibt sich auf die Spur des Konzepts der Familie und fragt nach Alternativen aus globaler Perspektive.
