Celebrate your birthday at the Ethnologisches Museum and spend a day full of imagination, fascinating stories, and creativity at the Humboldt Forum. Together with your friends, you will spend a very special birthday at the museum.<\/p>\n

During an inspiring visit to the exhibition, you will learn exciting facts about the First Nation Kwakwaka\u02bcwakw<\/strong> from Canada, who have been carving elaborate masks for generations that can be opened and transformed into animal and human forms. What stories do these masks tell? What significance did they have in the past and what significance do they have today? And what can we learn from indigenous peoples about the balance of sharing?<\/p>\n

In the TRANSFORMERS<\/strong> workshop, you will become artists yourselves: using cardboard and colorful paper, you will create mysterious, transformable masks that you can use to slip into new roles.
