The annual programme Family Matters<\/em> kicks off at the beginning of October with an exciting opening programme.<\/p>\n

For three days, care, closeness, and family relationships take centre stage. Small gestures \u2013 big impact: Artistic interventions, performances, readings, and talks explore new ways of thinking about family \u2013 whether through a self-care workshop (In the Dreamhouse<\/em>), dance-based interventions in the permanent exhibition, a cake buffet lavishly decorated with edible flowers, or African Street Games<\/em> for the whole family.<\/p>\n

Joining us are musician and author Christiane R\u00f6singer<\/strong>, the Resident Music Collective<\/strong>, feminist writer Sophie Lewis<\/strong>, the film Im Prinzip Familie<\/em> by director Daniel Abma<\/strong>, and many more.<\/p>\n

In the workshop spaces, drop-ins<\/strong> invite visitors to participate, build personal treasure boxes, and explore hands-on. The picture book cinema<\/strong> brings touching stories to the screen \u2013 read aloud by familiar voices, accompanied by live music.<\/p>\n
