Atmospherically illuminated facades, international specialities and high-quality arts and crafts: from 19 November, visitors can round off their visit to Schlo\u00dfplatz in Berlin-Mitte with roasted almonds, tree carvings, Feuerzangenbowle and gifts. The winter market on Schlo\u00dfplatz is a cosy place to enjoy the end of the year with friends or family with a view of the Lustgarten and Berlin Cathedral. Visitors can also look forward to further highlights in the magnificent Schl\u00fcterhof.<\/p>\n

The elaborately produced video mapping animations create a festive atmosphere: They illuminate the baroque fa\u00e7ades in the Schl\u00fcterhof and around the Schlossplatz. The well-known illumination technology company B\u00f6hlke, which has artistically illuminated many of the city’s landmarks for the Festival of Lights and the Christmas Garden, has created the light installations for this.<\/p>\n

The winter market offers a varied programme such as curling, the WinterPalace and an extensive children’s programme.<\/p>\n
