In the second chapter of\u00a0<\/span>\u201c<\/span>Moving the Forum<\/span>\u201d<\/span>, two of\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>thirteen teams will be concentrating on forms of activism, and on voices that have often been underrepresented in history and society, and that have found no acknowledgement.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

After drawing close to this new urban space from outside in\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Approaching<\/span><\/span>, this second phase is concerned with listening, and investigating the history that has been handed down to us.<\/span><\/span> Since 18 October, the artists have been working together with Berliners on site for 6 weeks. On 27 November 2021, they will present the results of their artistic research, accompanied by a programme of discussion events aimed at creating a rigorous dialogue. If I ruled the World. Signs of the Times.<\/h5>\n

In\u00a0<\/span><\/span>If I ruled the World<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Signs of the Times<\/span><\/span><\/em>, Joy\u00a0<\/span>Alpuerto<\/span>\u00a0Ritter and Lukas\u00a0<\/span>Steltner<\/span>, together with the musician Elsa\u00a0<\/span>M\u2019Bala<\/span>\u00a0(aka A.M.E.T.), will develop a dance performance with young Berlin dancers from various urban\u00a0<\/span>dance\u00a0<\/span>backgrounds. The perspectives, experiences and thoughts of young Berliners, questioning the making of history as well as creating a vision of their own future, will find their expression in this production.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Listening Activism<\/h5>\n

Through verbal and non-verbal exchange<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0Viviana\u00a0<\/span>Defazio<\/span>, Diana\u00a0<\/span>Sirianni<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>Jolika<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Sudermann<\/span>\u00a0cultivate with\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Listening Activism<\/span><\/span>\u00a0a state of deep listening among the project participants and the visitors of the Humboldt Forum. Connection and encounter become the basis for collective actions that disrupt the behavioural code of the\u00a0<\/span>Schloss<\/span> and undermine its architecture of power.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n
