On the one hand, these are the elements and dimensions that shape the colonial project of said modernity, and on the other hand, the dynamics and resources of the survival strategy that had to be developed in Latin America in response to this project. Elements that shaped the ethos or baroque behavior that can be observed in the different cultural, social and political-economic forms and expressions in Latin America since the 17th century, a century known as the baroque century and that of the counter-conquista.
