Originally, <em>bottari<\/em> were used in everyday life to transport personal belongings. <em>Bottari<\/em> are a characteristic motif and principle in the work of multimedia conceptual artist Kimsooja. The exhibition <a href=\"https:\/\/www.humboldtforum.org\/en\/?post_type=event-period&#038;p=104483\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Kimsooja \u2013 (Un)Folding Bottari<\/em><\/a> presents fourteen works and groups of works by the artist in various media and techniques, which unfold new meanings and contexts in the rooms of the Museum f\u00fcr Asiatische Kunst and the Ethnologisches Museum in the Humboldt Forum.
