With her new album MRA<\/span><\/em>, Emel presents a hard-hitting and highly danceable redefinition of her sound \u2013 powerful hip-hop meets feverish pop melodies and pushing reggaeton.<\/p>\n

MRA<\/span> means \u2018woman\u2019 in Arabic and was written, conceived and produced exclusively by and with women. As with her debut album Kelmti Horra<\/em> (\u2018free speech\u2019 in Arabic), the music sees itself as a manifesto, and as a soulful yet clear soundtrack for the coming revolutions \u2013 or as Emel would say: \u2018My voice has no limits\u2019.<\/p>\n
