As part of the conference\u00a0Cosmopolitan, International, Global: Music, Archives and Politics in East and West Berlin since 1963<\/em>, contemporary witnesses from East and West Berlin will meet on these two evenings. On July 3, the former president of the ICTM Jacques Cloarec (represented by Jean-Pierre Pastori), Salwa el-Shawan Branco, formerly also at the ICTM, and Tiago Oliveira Pinto from the Franz Liszt Music University Weimar\/Friedrich Schiller University Jena, will share their personal experiences. The talk will be moderated by\u00a0Giovanni Giuriati, University of Rome \/\u00a0Fondazione Giorgio Cini, Venice.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the second evening, Johannes Theurer from the Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Traditionelle Musik Berlin and Heike Hoffmann, former artistic director of the Musik-Biennale Berlin, will be among the guests. The second talk will be moderated by D\u00f6rte Schmidt from the Universit\u00e4t der K\u00fcnste Berlin.<\/p>\n
