Illustrator and intervention designer Patricia Vester invites BERLIN GLOBAL visitors to explore maps and images that have shaped our worldview.<\/p>\n

Starting from the school wall map \u201cGermany\u2019s Colonies\u201d (1937<\/span>) in the room War at BERLIN GLOBAL, old atlases and maps are taken apart, painted over, annotated and reassembled.<\/p>\n

This full-day drop-in activity offers a creative and critical engagement with maps, making the art form of mapping accessible through overpainting and drawing new maps.<\/p>\n

Feel free to bring along old materials.<\/p>\n

As part of \u201cBlack History Month\u201d, Patricia Vester works with the school wall map at BERLIN GLOBAL in various formats. On 21 February, there will be a public presentation of the project and process.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n
