With their dance performance, the Berlin dance group\u00a0Govenda Kurdi-International<\/a> (GovendaK\u00ce) invites you to experience the social and cultural significance of Kurdish dance culture and feel the joy of moving together.<\/p>\n

GovendaK\u00ce, which means \u2018dancing together\u2019 in Kurdish, was founded in 2011 and is made up of dancers from different backgrounds. The group combines tradition and modernity in its performances and artistically conveys the cultural diversity of Kurdish and other international dance traditions.<\/p>\n

With its choreographies, which are influenced by both traditional Kurdish dances and modern, contemporary influences, GovendaK\u00ce creates a unique atmosphere.
