They reflect on the gestures of fishing as carriers of a knowledge that moves through and is sustained by an entire community.<\/p>\n<p><em data-renderer-mark=\"true\"><span class=\"fabric-text-color-mark\" data-renderer-mark=\"true\" data-text-custom-color=\"#ff5630\">Nh\u00e9\u2019\u1ebd<\/span><\/em><span class=\"fabric-text-color-mark\" data-renderer-mark=\"true\" data-text-custom-color=\"#ff5630\"> are circular conversations where knowledge, experiences, and perspectives are shared. Her artistic practice moves across dance, performance, and different media, investigating the interrelations between the body, collectivity, and territory. She develops collaborative projects of social engagement that take collective embodied experience as a field for creating bonds and activating potentials to act, transform, and imagine other possible worlds. Director of the Sensitive Territories platform, her research-creation focuses on the intersections between the arts and social-environmental issues, particularly climate change and colonial legacies. Investigating ethical-political and performativity approaches to artistic practice, she creates connections across cultural, ecological, and geopolitical dimensions with traditional communities: Indigenous, cai\u00e7ara, and quilombola. The daughter of an artisanal fisherman, she works across drawing, audiovisual media, and ceramics. She holds a BA in Art and an MA in Artistic Process Studies from the Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) and is currently pursuing a PhD in Interdisciplinary Poetics at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Her research focuses on site-specific artistic practices.
