The third event in the Terrible Beauty discussion series<\/em> is dedicated to the controversial theme of conservation and zoological gardens. Where are animals\u2019 rights to a habitat? Can we talk of animal welfare at all, while animals are perceived as livestock and providers of nutrition? How can we respect the rights of animals, and what would we have to give up to do so?
