Like his alter-ego John Huston, the director of the Hollywood classic \u2018African Queen<\/a>\u2019,\u00a0Clint Eastwood’s character in this film is obsessed by his desire to kill an elephant. This dramatic story is both: a US-American landmark safari film of the 1990s and a critical reflection on Hollywood’s depiction of African countries as a backdrop.
