It is the eve of the big annual parade in the Elephant Kingdom. King Babar tells his four children about his childhood. When both parents were still young, the father as a little boy protected their mother as a little elephant girl under threat. Their village was attacked by the rhino king’s army. However, Barbar was able to end the war between the pachyderms.
