These temple wall hangings are large fabric paintings used in the palatial temples of the Indian Vallabhacharyas as decoration during festivals. They celebrate the young Shrinathji, a form of the Hindu god Krishna. The depictions focus on his deeds in idyllic pastoral surroundings.<\/p>\n
