In addition to her artistic activities within stage programmes, she also directs workshops in schools, gives guest seminars at universities, and offers professional development sessions for facilitators. She studied acting (B\u00fchnenreifepr\u00fcfung), singing, German and Romance languages and literature in Innsbruck and graduated with a Master\u2019s degree. She then completed her Master of Arts in Theater Pedagogy at the UdK Berlin. Freund toured with dance theaters and independent ensembles in Europe and New York, participated in scenic concerts with Transalpin and was involved in CD productions of WirKindervomKleistpark.<\/p>\n<p>Since 1997 she has been a lecturer in storytelling with adults\/young people and in children\u2019s projects. Her trainings take place in cooperation with theaters, universities and adult education centers (Theatertreffen der Jugend, UdK Berlin, Staatstheater Hannover) or with independent organizations (e.g. Verein Erz\u00e4hlKunst e.V.).<\/p>\n<p>Since 2008, Silvia Freund has been a narrator in the senate-funded project Erz\u00e4hlZeit for elementary schools and daycare centers, and since 2017 she has been a certified narrator of the VEE (Verband der Erz\u00e4hlerInnen e.V.).
