The Humboldt Forum invites you on\u00a0 the Lange Nacht der Museen<\/em> for an individual journey through space and time with atmospheric lighting and DJ Set.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This year the Humboldt Forum is part of the Berlin Lange Nacht der Museen<\/em> (Long Night of Museums). The Humboldt Forum looks forward to your visit from 6 pm.
\nAfter dusk you will enter the Schl\u00fcter Courtyard through portals illuminated in rainbow colours, which as always invites you to stay a while. Even from afar, you will be able to see a concert of light casting its beams into the Berlin night sky. The air-conditioned foyer invites you to dance or chill to the rhythms of DJ Jeff <\/em>during this long night. Enjoy a digital sea of colours played out for you by our Kosmograf.<\/p>\n

Get to know the entire venue in one long night: All four actors open their doors for you. At the Humboldt Forum you can expect programmes by the Stiftung Humboldt Forum im Berliner Schloss, the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin with the Ethnologisches Museum and the Museum f\u00fcr Asiatische Kunst, as well as the Stadtmuseum Berlin and the Humboldt University.<\/p>\n

Connect with the model of the globe in BERLIN GLOBAL<\/em> on an interactive tour during the Lange Nacht der Museen and experience how the city and its people are connected to the world – then and now. Or find answers to the question of how climate change, species extinction and the crisis of democracy are related in the Humboldt Lab\u2019s exhibition After Nature<\/em>.
\nThe exhibitions from the Ethnologisches Museum and the Museum f\u00fcr Asiatische Kunst of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin offer yet again different views into the past and present cultures of Africa, Asia and Oceania. The temporary Songlines: Tracking the Seven Sisters <\/em>exhibition tells the story of one of the central creation myths of the Australian continent. The legend of the Seven Sisters tells of seven women who cleverly and cunningly elude a male pursuer with magical powers and cross three deserts on their flight.<\/p>\n

Descend to the remains of the historic wall of the Berlin Palace. Here you will find the oldest evidence of the History of the Site<\/em>. The exhibition offers a tour from the Middle Ages to the present. In the Sculpture Hall<\/em> you will find the original sculptures of the historic palace fa\u00e7ade. The video panorama offers you a comprehensive audiovisual overview of the History of the Site<\/em>!
\nAlso experience a spectacular view over the rooftops of Berlin: The roof terrace is accessible until 8pm during the Lange Nacht der Museen. The visitor service staff can assist you in the staircase hall.<\/p>\n

Ticket information<\/em><\/strong>
\nFrom 1 to 14 August, the Sparticket will be sold <\/em>online<\/em><\/a> via www.lange-nacht-der-museen.de<\/a> for 12 EUR\/reduced rate 10 EUR. From 15 August the ticket costs 18 EUR \/reduced 12 EUR (children up to 12 years do not need a ticket). The ticket entitles the holder to visit all participating museums from 6pm. to 2am and to use the two bus shuttles. It also allows you to take advantage of a 10 EUR bonus for the mobility partner’s offer, which includes various vehicles such as e-scooters or bicycles. ) Advance ticket sales take place exclusively via the Lange Nacht der Museen website. On the day of the event, Lange Nacht Tickets will also be sold at the ticket counter in the Humboldt Forum from 6pm. From 6pm, admission to the exhibitions is only possible with a Lange Nacht Ticket.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
