Forests are highly complex systems in which currents of substances, energy and information flow between all the living organisms involved, linking their metabolisms. Insights into the information flows between organisms help to understand what makes ecosystems stable and resilient. At\u00a0Meet the Scientist<\/em>, forest scientist and plant biologist Marcel Robischon presents an example of chemical communication between plants and other organisms and invites you to listen to the language of trees.<\/p>\n
