A curator from the &#8220;History of the Place&#8221; department offers a guided tour on the topic of revolution and transformation especially for the &#8220;Weekend for Democracy&#8221;. Numbers such as 1848, 1918 or 1989, concepts such as monarchy, empire, socialism and dictatorship are illustrated by means of architecture, objects and pictures. Special attention is paid to the Palace of the Republic as a site of the Peaceful Revolution of 1989\/1990.<\/p>\n<p>The last stop will be the &#8220;Revolution&#8221; room of the BERLIN GLOBAL exhibition; this themed room brings together all the revolutionary themes of the location.
