Book Dash at the Humboldt Forum
Create stories that matter – together!

Join us for a one-day creative adventure where children (6+) and their caregivers collaborate with authors, storytellers, and illustrators to co-create picture books that reflect diverse family experiences. Explore themes like different forms of caring, hidden narratives, and alternative kinship through fun, hands-on storytelling, writing, and illustration activities.

By the end of the day, families will see their ideas come to life in digital and print picture books, celebrating the richness of every family’s story. No prior experience needed – just curiosity and creativity!
