The Mariachis carry you off into the musical world of Mexico! The group Mariachi Internacional *EL DORADO* plays the music of love, longing, joy and passion with rousing enthusiasm. In doing so, they bring a piece of Mexican tradition to Europe.
El Dorado, founded in 1994 in Berlin, was born out of the idea of bringing Mexican folklore closer to the audience in as authentic and original a form as possible. They play the romantic boleros, rancheras, corridos, sones and jarabes with devotion. Bésame mucho – Cielito lindo – La cucaracha – Son de la negra – Jarabe tapatío, to name just a few well-known songs. The singing is accompanied by trumpets, violins and the typical sounds of the guitarrón and the vihuela.
Victor Ibáñez – vocals and vihuela
Semjon Barlas- trumpet
Daniel Rosenbach – trumpet
Stephanie Gonsior – violin
Katja Barlas – violin
Luis Fernando Velasco – Guitarrón
