In a world of musical micro-scenes, there are only a few DJs and producers as curious, tasteful and unique as Mehmet Aslan. Born in Basel, as the son of Turkish immigrants, traditional Turkish music was just the beginning of a long journey through a world of fascinating and uncommon music, which is now reflected in his record case. For years, Mehmet Aslan has been drawing wide circles through genres, epochs and sounds, weaving his very own distinctive musical tapestry on which one can lose oneself.
