So, what’s your honest answer? Dad? Or do you need to check the family cleaning schedule first to answer this question? Kitchen, bathroom, trash, and dishwasher – there’s really a lot to do! And why is there so much arguing here?
Can the chores be divided more fairly? Or better yet: make it into a fun game that everyone plays sometimes?
The Kakadu Kids Podcast is looking for answers and is relying on three child experts, Coco, Elsa, and Ferdinand. They’re investigating: Is cleaning and tidying up actually “child labor”?
The live podcast is hosted by Fabian Schmitz.

So, I’ve probably got your attention now! Great! My name is Fabian, and I’m really excited to be here at Kakadu. Of course, the first thing you should know about me is what I like: radio, chocolate, traveling, and football. Since I prefer eating chocolate over making it and was never particularly good at playing football, choosing a career in “making radio” wasn’t a difficult decision for me. And I’ve been doing that for quite some time now. The first time I heard myself on the radio, I was four years old. Back then, I participated in a big carnival session. You might call it Fasching – the festival with costumes – and this session was broadcast live on the radio. It was exciting!
Of course, then came school and university, but after that, finally radio and podcasts. In Cologne, Aachen, and for a while even in Africa. I absolutely love animals and grew up with dogs, cats, chickens, and a dwarf goat named “Emma-Lotta-can-ride-a-bike.” Naturally, I feel right at home next to Tiger, Athena, and Kakadu. And I’m looking forward to creating this podcast for and with you and having a lot of fun.
