Admission & Tickets

The Humboldt Forum is an open space for everyone to drop by and visit our exhibitions. At the moment, however, some safety restrictions apply due to the Corona pandemic. Therefore, we kindly ask you to book a time slot ticket online in advance.

  • Free entry for 100 days

Visiting the Humboldt Forum, all our current exhibitions, and the use of the media guide, are free of charge for the first 100 days. From November 13, 2021, we will charge for selected exhibitions. Events are generally subject to an admission fee.

  • Time slots

Due to the Corona pandemic, you need to book a time slot ticket in advance to visit an exhibition.

  • Book a timed ticket

You can book your timed ticket for an exhibition online or via +49 30 99 211 89 89 (every day 10am–6pm CET).

  • Currently longer waiting times

The currently high demand for timed tickets causes longer wait times at the box office, when booking by telephone and for replies on email inquiries. We apologize for any inconvenience.

  • Spontaneous visits

If you would like to visit the Humboldt Forum on the spur of the moment, you may still be successful, as there are always free time slots available on a daily basis, both in the ticket webshop and at the box office in the foyer, in case individual visitors do not take up their bookings after all.

  • Booking 14 days in advance

Due to the possibility of changes in hygiene guidelines at short notice, time slots can be booked 14 days in advance. You can book four tickets max.

  • Visiting several exhibitions

When booking, please remember to coordinate your visits to the individual exhibitions. Please also take the estimated time spent in each exhibition into account.

  • Meeting point & time

The meeting point for guided tours and the location for workshops can be found on your booking confirmation. In order for the tour to begin punctually, please arrive 15 minutes before the programme is due to start. We ask that you allow for this additional quarter hour when planning your visit.

  • Group size

Please be aware that Berlin Covid-19 containment regulations restrict capacity of group tours to a maximum of 15 persons, depending on the event format. Please also observe our current hygiene rules.

  • Contact tracing

For the protection of our visitors, and to allow for the rapid tracing of possible chains of infection, the partners of the Humboldt Forum are required to keep records of attendance for tours and events. This means your contact details will be recorded when attending a guided tour or event. At the beginning of each tour or event, you will be given a contact form on which to record your information. Your personal information will be used only for official contact tracing purposes and will be deleted automatically after four weeks.
