Once a month, poetry and science come together at the Humboldt Lab. In the Logoskop‘s fourteenth edition, the renowned spoken-word poets Lea Weber and Micha Ebeling will explore the exhibition After Nature with live performances of their work. Visitors are invited to join them on their tour of eloquence.

Lea Weber was born in Hesse and studied German language and literature and art education in Frankfurt am Main. She now works independently as a poetry slammer and illustrator and regularly passes on her knowledge of creative writing in workshops to people who are enthusiastic about writing.
She has been successfully touring Germany’s poetry slam stages for over 8 years. In 2019, she reached the semi-finals of the German Poetry Slam Championship in Berlin and currently holds the title of Hessian Poetry Slam runner-up.
Her calm words hit straight to the heart and make listeners smile honestly and sometimes even cry softly. Some of her texts have appeared in various anthologies and in 2020 she published her first book lautgeschrieben with her own texts, poems and illustrations.
Micha Ebeling is an author and reader who lives in Berlin. He was a member of the reading stage LSD – Liebe Statt Drogen for 21 years. Together with Volker Strübing, he won the German-language team championships in poetry slam three times as TeamLSD.
Ebeling is a virtuoso of words, letting metaphors blossom and alliteration spring into action. His astute observations strike to the heart and provoke sensitively. The rough edges of his biting short stories have not smoothed out even after 25 years on stage.
With his fast-paced stories, Micha Ebeling delights the audiences of the reading stages as well as the fan community of the poetry slams. With Micha Ebeling, a true Berlin reading stage legend will be performing at Logoskop.
