In this special edition Vanessa Hamilton and Lani Moran-Samqua will speak about and help you create jewelry as it is worn by the Umoⁿhoⁿ people. The jewelry is not only worn on a everyday basis but mainly used as part the elaborate Umoⁿhoⁿ dance regalia. Guided by Vanessa Hamilton, Lani Moran-Samqua and Marta Oliveira Sonius you will be able to create your own jewelry and take it home with you.

The workshop will include a short visit of the exhibition Against the Current, where historic and contemporary Umoⁿhoⁿ body adornment is exhibited.

In the Humboldt Forum's foyer there is a 17 meter high media tower, called "cosmograph". It gives visitors comprehensive information about their visit and can transform into an art and light installation.
