What do we know about life in this place from the Middle Ages to the present day? What were the cellars once used for and what work was needed downstairs to make life upstairs – in the monastery, castle or museum – work? In this workshop, the students will see everyday life in different eras. In small groups, they explore rooms and objects relating to everyday activities such as heating, cooking or storage, present their findings to their classmates and draw comparisons with their own living environment.
