The Media Tower, both as a physical structure and as a media installation, was designed as part of the interior design by Holzer Kobler Architekturen (2014). The initial conceptual framework was developed in 2016 as part of the early media planning phase at the Humboldt Forum’s administrative office (Staatlichen Museen zu Berlin/Preußischer Kulturbesitz). At the invitation of HF Kultur GmbH, Ali Hossaini provided an artistic concept that gave the project a name and a general creative direction.
The Kosmograf, like the Humboldt Forum itself, combines this elements of the broke and the modernist and the vision of both: Past and future
