What lies hidden between the old walls beneath the Humboldt Forum? How did these things get here, what were they once used for – and who decided how they should be displayed today?
On this immersive tour, children embark together on a journey of discovery through the archaeological cellar beneath the Humboldt Forum. Along the way, they encounter original (building) materials, search for fascinating exhibition objects, and playfully learn about the work of different professional groups such as archaeologists, conservators, or curators. Their interest-led exploration is supported by engaging picture cards and flashlights, which help illuminate dark corners and hidden niches.
