This tour of the building’s interior and exterior will provide an insight into Franco Stella’s architecture, the examples he followed and how he combines old and new. The contrasting design language of baroque and contemporary architecture is just as much an issue as the chequered history of the buildings that have occupied this site and the political ideals associated with them.
