Maintenance work
From Monday, 26.02. to Friday, 26.04.2024, maintenance work will be carried out in various sections.
For your planning, we would like to inform you about the upcoming maintenance work, some of which will lead to short-term closures of exhibition areas. In addition, maintenance work will be carried out in the stairwells, which will lead to changes in routing. Your visit to the exhibition will not be affected. You can find more information here.
Foyer closure
In the first phase, the foyer will not be accessible from Monday, February 26 to Thursday, March 7.
The castle cellar and the warming room will be accessible via Portal 3 and all other exhibitions via the passage. Here you will also find the ticket counter, the information desk and the meeting points for guided tours. Please note the alternative route.
Maintenance work in the Ethnological Museum (2nd floor)
From Mon., 15.04. to Fri., 19.04. the exhibition areas on the 2nd floor will be closed. The areas Africa (Benin), Oceania (boat cube) and Sounds of the World will not be on display.
The exhibition areas will be open again from Sat. 20.04.
Maintenance work in the Museum of Asian Art (3rd floor)
From Mon., 22.04. to Fri., 26.04. the exhibition areas on the 3rd floor will be closed. The exhibition areas will be open again from Sat. 27.04.
Maintenance work BERLIN GLOBAL (1st floor)
The exhibition will be closed to the public from April 22 to 24, 2024. This is due to scheduled maintenance work. There may be restrictions on exhibition operations on April 25 and 26, 2024. Thank you for your understanding.
