What does the Palace of the Republic have to do with German unity or democracy? What experiences did people have there? And why are there so many different memories of it? In an interactive tour through the special exhibition, the pupils explore the Palace of the Republic and its significance in East Germany and West Germany, learn about different perspectives on it and discuss the relevance of historical places in the present.
