Meditation, mindfulness, yoga – many Buddhist practices have have found their way into everyday life today. On the basis of sculptures and reliefs, the pupils explore the beginnings of Buddhism and learn the life story of Siddhartha Gautama. Which paths lead to enlightenment? And what do mudras (symbolic hand gestures) and emojis have in common? The pupils explore these questions and learn about atmospheric places in the museum, such as the cave of the ring-bearing doves and the projected constellations over the Silk Road.
