Celebrate your birthday at the Ethnologisches Museum and spend a day full of imagination, fascinating stories, and creativity at the Humboldt Forum.

Our museum guide will accompany you through the exhibition, tell you about the biodiversity of the forests in San Agustín, Colombia, and show you the panorama by artist Yorleny Cardozo Peña. You will listen to the patter of rain and the singing of birds and learn how the plants and animals of the Colombian mountain range and the mysterious, millennia-old stone guardian figures are connected.

Afterwards, you will explore the superpowers of animals in an artistic research laboratory, examine plants and insects with digital microscopes, and design your own three-dimensional protective creature to take home with you as a souvenir.

In the Humboldt Forum's foyer there is a 17 meter high media tower, called "cosmograph". It gives visitors comprehensive information about their visit and can transform into an art and light installation.
