Pop-up exhibition I#SPACE

Who would I be as a house? And how does cultural identity show itself in spaces? The students of the basic course Art at Gymnasium Tiergarten have explored these questions. At the Ethnologisches Museum and the Museum für Asiatische Kunst, they engaged with spaces and houses, such as the cult house of the Abelam, Ai Weiwei’s tea house, palace replicas and in the process questioned their own identity and personality. Subsequently, the students designed and built I#spaces, which we are now exhibiting in the exhibition space for architecture from Oceania.
