The watercolours of Feliciano Lana tell the story of contact between Indigenous people and white people in the context of Brazil’s colonial history and thus also provide insights into the colonial use of violence and exploitation.

Our accompanying booklet serves as a guide in preparing for, and following up on, a visit to the exhibition together with children and young audiences. It offers background information about Lana and his work, guidance for discussing his paintings, and suggestions for further reflection after the exhibition.

The booklet is intended for adults with children aged 9 and older, as well as for educators who wish to visit the exhibition with their students from Grade 7 onwards.
