Experience a special comedy night right in the heart of the exhibition. Maraam – already a prominent voice for a young online community – brings her stand‑up programme to BERLIN GLOBAL, joined by two surprise guests of her choosing.
This evening is part of the accompanying programme to the exhibition If I were King or Queen…, in which eleven children and young people from Neukölln share their perspectives on everyday life, politics and urban realities. Drawing from their experiences, they articulate demands for justice, freedom of expression and social cohesion.
Through their voices, a space emerges where humour, lived experiences and societal questions meet. In this unique setting, Maraam curates and hosts a versatile comedy night that is both entertaining and thought‑provoking.
Afterwards, you can look forward to a DJ set by NAS TEA – ranging from mellow sounds to popcore and breaks.
We will announce Maraam’s surprise guests around one week before the event.

Seats for the comedy programme will be available on a first‑come, first‑served basis. There will be no seating for the DJ set.
Maraam Tarraf
Maraam Tarraf (@maraamharaam) is a comedian, actor and presenter – and one of the most prominent voices of a new generation. As a defining member of the “Datteltäter” and a regular cast member on “The Carolin Kebekus Show”, she blends comedy, conviction and pop culture. With hundreds of thousands of followers on TikTok and Instagram, she speaks to a young and diverse audience.
NAS TEA
Raised in Hamburg and based in Berlin, NAS TEA is a DJ, performer, and sound artist with a taste for tension, release, and rhythm. Their sets balance precision and chaos – energetic, emotional, and unpredictable – shaped by a background in performance art and a fearless approach to sound. Constantly shifting and evolving, NAS TEA stands at the edge of Berlin’s underground, turning the dancefloor into a space of pure, collective charge.
