Here Voodoo tradition meets soul. The band is named after the group of women who imported Mercedes Benz cars to Togo. This year, they performed at major festivals such as Down the Rabbit Hole, Roskilde, and North Sea Jazz.
The ensemble consists of five members who combine driving grooves, deep bass lines, and West African rhythms with soul, electronics, and powerful vocals. At its core are three charismatic singers whose energy and stage presence instantly captivate audiences. With a minimal setup centered on vocals and a vintage Korg keyboard, the band creates a direct yet richly textured sound.
Their live performances are celebratory and almost trance-like: a blend of ancestral energy and modern fire that has left thousands in a trance across European stages.
