The dream of an orchestral ensemble is embodied in the compositions of Orkèstar and interpreted through the versatility and expressiveness of the string instruments, driving bass/percussion grooves, and the unique vocals of Parham Alizadeh.
The virtuoso singer, the multi-instrumentalist Hatef Shaterian Bidgoli, and the arranger and guitarist David Beck shape the music into a wide-ranging musical experience. Orkèstar is a Berlin-based ensemble that unites musicians with German, Iranian, Syrian, and Brazilian roots. They develop a shared musical language, influenced by West Asian aesthetics, Persian classical poetry ands archaic melodies in modern arrangements
