Alena Buyx is chair of the German Ethics Council – and thus has the big questions of our country on the table: Have we neglected the children in the pandemic? What is our position as a society on suicide? Who gets help first when vaccines or medicines are in short supply? Born in Osnabrück, she is a medical and research ethicist and winner of the German National Prize.
