Laughter, movement, rhythm – the African Street Games Festival brings the vibrant energy of street games from across Africa directly into and outside the Humboldt Forum. Here, people play, dance, build, and explore together.

Whether you join a race, test your skills, or simply laugh with friends and family – these games connect generations and create a true sense of community. Look forward to a colorful mix of workshops and activities, from making dolls and toy cars to face painting and a variety of board games, as well as games like Ti ti Rounda, Tumatu Katolo, Diketo, Tunte, and many more.

The games are suitable for all ages and are mainly played using natural or recycled materials.

The African Street Games Festival is initiated and coordinated by …thabo thindi.
